2 stars in the Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2017

A beautiful entry in the guide “Bettane & Desseauve” after the wine tasting by Olivier Borneuf!

 

 

THE WINES :

The wines are concentrated, on black fruits. Aged in barrel, they do not lose any of their character because of that, especially the cuvée Diaclase, named for the fractures that one sees in the bedrock.

COUP DE COEUR : Régnié Diaclase 2014

Subtle nose, violets, pepper, cherry. Creamy and silky mouth, lots of harmony. Very good persistance on fine tannins and a bitter vegetal note which adds contour  A very nice success.
