This cuvée symbolizes for us hope after the anguish, rage after despondency, humility after anger.
During the summer of 2017, violent hail storms wiped out some of our harvesting hopes … After the disgust and anger, we had to bounce back and find some nice grapes. The Hydrophobe is therefore the cuvée of resilience.

The grapes of this 2017 vintage come from the terroir of the blue stones of Brouilly (diorites).
